
This linebacker from Mount Vernon High School in South Dakota was a standout athlete in football, basketball and track. He earned All-State honors in basketball and football his junior and senior seasons.
The Argus Leader named Chad to the Elite 45 caption his senior year. Chad took his skills to the University of Iowa, where he earned All-American honors his junior and senior year. While there, he had an impressive record of 260 career tackles.
In 2004, CNN Sports Illustrated honored him with second team All-American when he finished his season with 113 tackles. In 2005 the Sporting News listed Chad as the no. 2 outside linebacker in college football. Pro Football Weekly selected Chad as First team All-American.
Chad will undoubtedly make his presence known in the NFL with his size, speed, athleticism and energetic style of play.
