Mike Miller got his start playing basketball in Mitchell, SD. He attended the University of Florida from 1998 until 2000, when he helped the Gators to the 2000 NCAA Championships.

Later that year, the Orlando Magic selected Mike as the 5th overall pick in the NBA draft. Schick named Miller NBA Rookie of the Year in 2001, after Mike made history by shooting more three-point attempts and goals than any other rookie.

He joined the Memphis Grizzlies in 2002, and earned his highest number of rebounds in a single game, 19, against the Miami Heat in November.

Mike's career-high score of 37 points was against the Houston Rockets in April of 2005. He is currently averaging 13 points and five rebounds each game.
