Jared Reiner - Basketball

Reiner is a 6 foot 11 inch, South Dakota Native that first caught people’s eyes as a standout at Tripp-Delmont High School. From there he went to the University of Iowa to play basketball and by his junior year was leading the Big Ten Conference in rebounds. An injury plagued senior year kept Reiner from being drafted, but was on the list of a plethora of NBA teams. The Chicago Bulls landed Reiner, signing him to an undrafted contract where he would play the entire season as backup center. Reiner’s great career landed him on multiple NBA teams that included the Los Angeles Clippers, the Phoenix Suns, the San Antonio Spurs, the Seattle SuperSonics, the Milwaukee Bucks, and the Philadelphia 76ers. He also played over seas and right here in Sioux Falls for the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
