Joe Krabbenhoft - Basketball

South Korea is the new home for Joe Krabbenhoft, at least for now. Currently Krabbenhoft is playing for the South Korea Knights and playing very well. He is averaging 8.6 points and 4.6 rebounds a game over seas. Before heading to South Korea, Krabbenhoft was playing with the Sioux Falls Skyforce and was one of the top performers every night. He was averaging 12.4 points, 2.2 assists, and 7.3 rebounds a game.

Krabbenhoft graduated from the University of Wisconsin in May 2009. While at Wisconsin, the Sioux Falls native had a stellar basketball career. Krabbenhoft was known as one of the best defenders and hardest workers in the Big Ten. Over his collegiate career, he played in 136 games at Wisconsin (first all-time at Wisconsin) and he had 756 rebounds (seventh all-time at Wisconsin) including 231 offensive boards (fourth all-time at Wisconsin). He is the fifth player in Big-Ten history to have 750 rebounds and 250 assists.

In 2008 Krabbenhoft was named to the Big Ten All-Defensive Team. During his senior year at Wisconsin he averaged 8.2 points per game, 2.5 assists per game and 6.7 rebounds per game. He earned All-Big Ten honorable mention in 2009.

Krabbenhoft played basketball at Roosevelt High School.
