HyVee/Sanford Legends 2010 Lineup Change
(Sioux Falls, SD) – Hy-Vee/Sanford Legends announced today changes to the line-up of the 2010 Legends Event. Jared Allen from the Minnesota Vikings is unable to attend the event and will be replaced by Hall-of-Fame running-back Tony Dorsett from the Dallas Cowboys. The Vikings scheduled a second mini-camp in June, which forced Allen to reschedule his honeymoon and cancel his appearance at Legends.
“As you can see from a letter he sent, he’s disappointed that he cannot attend, “said Brad Coleman with Hy-Vee/Sanford Legends. “Jared will still autograph many items for our event, so that those who wish to bid on these items can. We are extremely happy to bring one of football’s best here in his place. We have tried for several years to bring in Tony and feel very fortunate to be able to have him at this year’s event. As disappointed as we are to lose Jared, we are as excited to be getting Tony.”
Three other athletes have been added to the Hy-Vee/Sanford Legends line-up, as well:
- Dwayne Bowe - Kansas City Chief Wide Receiver – Celebrity Football Camp Only
- Jared Reiner – Former Iowa Hawkeye and NBA Player
- Dusty Coleman - Former O’Gorman athlete, Wichita State Shocker and current Oakland A’s prospect
(Sioux Falls, SD) – Hy-Vee/Sanford Legends has announced that Chad Greenway from the Minnesota Vikings has had to change his Legends schedule for the 2010 Legends Event. Due to personal scheduling conflicts Chad Greenway will now be attending the Legends Banquet on 6/17, and the Legends Golf Tournament and Legends Football Clinic on 6/18. He will unable to attend the Celebrity Football Camp on 6/20 &6/ 21.
